Attend this 15-days Top In-demand Power Skills for the 21st-Century Workplace programme, and be ready to enter a challenging and forever changing diverse workplace.

The Edu-Lead Group has been involved in corporate training for over 20 years and will continue with upskilling and reskilling people with much-needed soft- and other skills required for the 21st Century diverse workplace. We have rolled out a 15-day program covering Top In-demand Power Skills for the 21st-Century Workplace aiming to equip people with some of the most appropriate workplace skills needed to Bridge the Workplace Skills Gap.

By attending this program, which is aimed at unemployed matriculants, graduates, and other interested persons, you will be equipped with these much-needed skills. Great emphasis is placed on the soft skills required to survive in an ever-changing and diverse workplace – possibly more important than the technical skills you need to do your job.

● What strategies are there for exceeding expectations in a diverse workplace?

Make sure to be part of the first session that starts on 7 October 2024, and thereafter will continue every alternate week and new groups start monthly. Enroll today to prepare yourself for the next step in your life.
We further encourage all delegates to register for a Career Direct Assessment after completion of this training. This is done by Dr. Mario Denton, an International Psychologist, Coach & Teacher who is also our program head and oversees the content of our programs. This assessment will be charged separately.
All Modules are accredited and NQF-aligned according to SETA Unit Standards through one of The Edu-Lead Group’s associates.

Walk away with at least 12 skills-specific Certificates of Achievement. Certificates will only be issued after ALL modules have been completed and passed. Delegates are required to complete various assignments and pass them to be eligible to receive any skills-specific certificate. Delegates will also be required to complete questionnaires for selected modules.

·        Overview of Office Practice, Business Ethics & Etiquette, Smartphone & Telephone etiquette, Personal Branding & Reputation
·        The New World of Work, LEARN, RE-LEARN and UN-LEARN, Customer Service
·        Time Management, Understand the importance of Productivity, Digital technology & AI in the workplace
·        Managing your Personal Finances (incl. drawing up your budget), Introduction to Project Management

SESSION 2 (5 days)
·        7 Habits of Highly Effective People (based on the book by Stephen Covey)
·        Personal Mastery (EQ), Behaviour, Purpose & Passion, The Art of Working Together
·        Communication (Interpersonal & Intrapersonal), Listening Skills, Negotiation skills
·        Introduction to Business Writing & Email Writing, Assertiveness, Conflict Management
·        Creativity, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Complex Problem-solving, Decision-making Skills

SESSION 3 (5 days)

·        Leadership Skills (you do not need a title to be a leader), Core Behaviours of Leadership
·        Team building, Trust & Respect; Diversity in teams, Responsibility
·        Systems Thinking, Office Politics: What it is and How to Deal with it
·        Drawign up a CV and Social media profiles: The Do’s and don’ts of Social Media platforms: Why to have them, For what should it be used? And What it should look like
·        Work-life Balance: Identify, overcome, and coping mechanisms for stress, burnout & fatigue
